Terms
The deal for using fieldhousepools.com. Last updated 7 September 2026.
What this is
Fieldhouse is a private app for running NFL pools between friends. It records picks, applies each league’s rules, and works out the standings. It is run by one person as a side project, for people they know. It is not a business, and there is nothing to buy here.
By using it you are agreeing to what is on this page and to the privacy policy.
It does not handle money
This is the important one. Fieldhouse never takes, holds, moves, or pays out a penny.
- Entry fees and payouts happen directly between the people in a league, however they already do it.
- Where the app shows what is owed, who has paid, or a payout split, it is displaying what the commissioner told it. It is a shared notepad, not a ledger, and not proof of anything.
- A Venmo or PayPal handle on a profile is a convenience for finding somebody, and the default destination for the fees of any league that person runs. Nothing is charged, and no payment runs through this app.
- If somebody does not pay, that is between you and them. There is nothing here to appeal to.
- Nobody who runs this site takes a cut of any pool. Every dollar in is the players’, and every dollar goes back out to them.
Whether a pool is legal where you are is your business, not this app’s. It is scorekeeping software.
Commissioners run their leagues
Each league’s rules are set and enforced by its own commissioner. They post the card, set the deadlines, decide what happens when somebody misses a week, correct a result the app got wrong, and settle any argument about it. The app gives them the tools; it does not overrule them and neither does the person who runs the site.
Commissioners can see more than other members, including opening a player’s card before the league reveals it. When that happens it is recorded — see the privacy policy. If you do not trust your commissioner, the thing to fix is the league, not the software.
What is expected of you
- Be an adult. If you are not old enough to be in a money pool where you live, you are not old enough for this.
- Use your own account, and a name your league will recognise.
- Invite links are for the people you meant to invite. Passing one around is how a pool gets somebody nobody knows in it.
- Do not try to get at other people’s picks, other leagues, or anything the app has not offered you.
- Do not attack, scrape, or overload the site.
- Do not use it to harass anyone.
Accounts can be removed
A commissioner can remove someone from their league. Whoever runs the site can delete an account that is being used to harass people, break into things, or wreck a league — and will say why. Short of that, nobody is going to touch your account.
You can delete your own account at any time from your account page. If you are the only commissioner of a league that other people are still playing, hand it to somebody else first; the app will say so rather than leave a pool with nobody running it.
No warranty
The app is provided as it is. It will have bugs. A score may come in wrong, a deadline may pass while the site is down, a notification may not arrive, and data can be lost. Nothing here is guaranteed to be available, correct, or backed up.
Do not rely on it for anything that matters more than a pool between friends. If it gets something wrong, the record that counts is whatever your league decides it is. Nobody involved in running this owes you anything for a mistake it makes.
Changes, and asking
These terms can change; the date under the headline changes with them. If you do not like a change, delete your account.
